- The Adonis Theatre was originally a legitimate theater in New York's Time Square built by impresario Billy Rose for his wife, singer Fanny Brice. In the mid-1970s, the Adonis Theatre opened as "The Flagship Male Theatre of the Nation". A Night at the Adonis was filmed at the actual Adonis Theatre and later played there.
